This is the first-ever NFT created by the muralist and street artist Piero Maturana. Based in Concepción, Chile, his work is characterized by an almost synthetic approach to figurative painting: pastel-colored vectors meet to portray solemn characters and still life.

It is also the first drop of a series of collaborations between MTN Colors and the NFT Street Art Collective. This collaboration is based on creating exclusive NFTs from artists that have shown their work at Montana Gallery Barcelona. Montana Gallery is known for being one of the first galleries in Barcelona to support graffiti writers and street artists. Founded in 2007, its walls have seen works by artists such as Os Gemeos, Aryz, Suso33, Loomit, Okuda, San, Henry Chalfant & Sharp, Tilt, Inocuo, Alex Fakso, Etam Cru, Ernst Zacharevic, and Mark Bodé just to name a few. The Gallery is considered a referent institution in the graffiti scene worldwide.

So this NFT is special for two reasons, as it is the first NFT by Piero Maturana and also the first one of the MTN artists drops.
